    Love's Travel Stop Grand Opening

    A special ribbon-cutting ceremony was held September 23rd at the Love’s Travel Stop on Highway 75 in Okmulgee. James Bohanan, general manager of the Okmulgee  Love’s Travel Stop, does the honor of cutting the ribbon. Bohanan is flanked by representatives of the Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors, Okmulgee Mayor Steven Baldridge, State Senator Roger Thompson, and numerous other dignitaries and community leaders.

             
    Love's Travel Stops, headquartered in Oklahoma City has more than 360 locations in 40 states.  Love's provides professional truck drivers and motorists with 24-hour access to five clean showers and safe places to purchase gasoline, diesel fuel, travel items, electronics, snacks, 50 car spaces and 60 truck parking spaces. Love's also host an IHOP Express restaurant located inside. The Travel Stop brings approximately 60 jobs to Okmulgee.
