Muscogee (Creek) Nation

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation is one of the largest Indian Tribes in the United States with nearly 80,000 citizens and a budget over half billion dollars and growing annually.  The culture, social and economic impact of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation on the Okmulgee area is significant and growing continuously.  The largest employer in the Okmulgee area, the Nation employs approximately 3000 individuals.  Much of the professional health care in the community is owned and managed by the Nation, employing 250 individuals at the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Medical Center alone.  The Nation supports education and training at all levels, finances a comprehensive set of social programs to support Muscogee (Creek) Citizens, invests significant dollars in infrastructure improvements, advances culture and the arts, and serves as a good corporate partner in all endeavors. Paccar Winch- Okmulgee

For more than seven decades, Braden products, a division of Paccar- Winch Division, have faced and conquered the toughest applications. Braden winches and hoists are the customers' choice for offshore cranes, utility trucks, mobile cranes and oil field service rigs.  Braden's history began in 1924 with the Braden Steel Corporation located near Tulsa, Oklahoma. Braden originally supplied equipment for the oil fields that included drive heads for popping shallow wells. Now the Paccar Winch- Okmulgee facility employs 170 people and is a leader in manufacturing innovation, utilizing some of the newest technologies in machine tools to provide high quality parts in a flow cell environment. C.P. Kelco US Inc.

Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, CP Kelco is a leading producer of specialty hydrocolloids with offices and facilities across the globe.  The CP Kelco manufacturing site in Okmulgee employs approximately 165 people. Featuring an extensive range of specialty hydrocolloid solutions, CP Kelco leverages its capabilities to bring concepts and ideas to real-world products in a broad range of applications.  Learn more here. 

Callidus Technologies, Inc.

Callidus Technologies, a Honeywell International company, commenced operations in 1989. Callidus' principal products and services are custom designed and fabricated burners, flares, gas/liquid incinerators and vapor combustion units. Callidus also provides engineering and consulting services for environmental and combustion applications. Callidus' corporate office is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Manufacturing and industrial scale research and testing facilities are located on 300 acres located 30 miles south of Tulsa in Beggs, Oklahoma.  The Beggs facility employs 120 individuals. In addition, Callidus has sales offices in Brussels, Belgium; Shanghai, China; Mumbai, India; and Sao Paulo, Brazil.  Learn more here.  

East Central Electric Cooperative

East Central Oklahoma Electric Cooperative of Okmulgee is one of 28 member/owned and controlled non-profit Rural Electric Cooperatives in Oklahoma.  ECOEC's service area covers 3,000 square miles and includes portions of Creek, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Tulsa and Wagoner counties and employs 81 people in Okmulgee. 
The Cooperative’s $112,885,591 net electric plant provides service at cost to 32,965 meters through a network of 6,154 miles of power lines and 23 substations. Service crews are stationed in Bixby, Bristow, Checotah, Muskogee, Okemah and Okmulgee.   Learn more here.  

Great Plains Coca Cola

Employing 65 people in Okmulgee, Great Plains Coca-Cola, headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, is the sixth largest bottler of Coca-Cola in the United States.  Okmulgee is one of seven production facilities.  Great Plains services a two-state territory that includes a large portion of Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas, which serves over 2 million people. Founded in 1972, Covington Aircraft is a world-leading aircraft engine maintenance, repair and overhaul facility specializing in the PT6A turbine engine and R-985 and R-1340 radial engines. Covington is a Pratt & Whitney Canada certified Distributor and Designated Overhaul Facility (DDOF), and provide world-class corporate and agricultural aircraft service.  Located at two facilities in Okmulgee on Highway 75 and at the Okmulgee Regional Airport, Covington employees 70 individuals.  Learn more here.
