For more than seven decades, Braden products, a division of Paccar- Winch Division, have faced and conquered the toughest applications. Braden winches and hoists are the customers' choice for offshore cranes, utility trucks, mobile cranes and oil field service rigs. Braden's history began in 1924 with the Braden Steel Corporation located near Tulsa, Oklahoma. Braden originally supplied equipment for the oil fields that included drive heads for popping shallow wells. Now the Paccar Winch- Okmulgee facility employs 170 people and is a leader in manufacturing innovation, utilizing some of the newest technologies in machine tools to provide high quality parts in a flow cell environment. The CP Kelco manufacturing site in Okmulgee employs approximately 165 people. Callidus Technologies, a Honeywell International company, commenced operations in 1989. Callidus' principal products and services are custom designed and fabricated burners, flares, gas/liquid incinerators and vapor combustion units. Callidus also provides engineering and consulting services for environmental and combustion applications. Callidus' corporate office is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Manufacturing and industrial scale research and testing facilities are located on 300 acres located 30 miles south of Tulsa in Beggs, Oklahoma. The Beggs facility employs 120 individuals. East Central Electric Cooperative
East Central Oklahoma Electric Cooperative of Okmulgee is one of 28 member/owned and controlled non-profit Rural Electric Cooperatives in Oklahoma. ECOEC's service area covers 3,000 square miles and includes portions of Creek, McIntosh, Muskogee, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Tulsa and Wagoner counties and employs 81 people in Okmulgee.
The Cooperative’s $112,885,591 net electric plant provides service at cost to 32,965 meters through a network of 6,154 miles of power lines and 23 substations. Service crews are stationed in Bixby, Bristow, Checotah, Muskogee, Okemah and Okmulgee. Learn more here.
